Description

The True American stars Kumail Nanjiani as Rais Bhuiyan, a Muslim from Bangladesh who survived a hate crime that killed two other immigrants in Texas after 9/11. Mark Ruffalo will play the convicted killer. Amy Adams co-stars in the film directed by Pablo Larrain based on the nonfiction book by Anand Giridharadas.
