Description

Miramax will distribute the Dutch film Twin Sisters from Ben Sombogaart. Based on an acclaimed novel by Tessa de Loo, the story follows two twin sisters who are separated during their childhood in 1925 Holland. One became college educated while the other ended up a maid and a war bride. The two meet 40 years later in an uncomfortable reunion that raises a lot of issues. Marieke van der Pol adapts the script for the epic story.
