Waydowntown is a Canadian comedic version of the TV show "Big Brother". Tom, Curt, Sandra, and Randy live and work in a big metropolitan city where buildings are connected with glass tunnels and walkways. They make a bet to see who can stay indoors the longest. What results is a story about individuals who are on the brink of losing it just to see a normal day outside. The film was awarded Best Canadian Film at the 2000 Toronto Film Festival. Lot 47 Films distributes the film directed by Gary Burns, who co-wrote with James Martin. Fab Filippo, Gordon Currie, Marya Delver, and Tobias Godson play the leads.
