Rogue has released the redband trailer for the action comedy MacGruber [MGRUB]. Originally a SNL spoof on the TV series MacGyver, the MacGruber movie appears more like a R-rated version of The Pink Panther than a parody of Richard Dean Anderson's jack of all trades. Will Forte stars as the title character, a clueless ex-special ops soldier brought back in when his old nemesis, played by Val Kilmer [VKILM], stolen a nuclear warhead. Ryan Phillippe [RPHIL] and Kristen Wigg [KWIIG] co-star in the film, which supposedly has been well-received in test screenings. MacGruber is the first SNL character to get a feature film since The Ladies Man in 2000.
