First trailer for Triangle of Sadness

Neon has unleashed the first trailer for the black comedy Triangle of Sadness [TRSAD], which won the Palme d’Or at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Directed by Ruben Östlund, the film satirizes social hierarchy and the relationship between power and beauty. Triangle of Sadness opens in theaters on October 7th.

Celebrity model couple, Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean), are invited on a luxury cruise for the uber-rich, helmed by an unhinged boat captain (Woody Harrelson). What first appeared instagrammable ends catastrophically, leaving the survivors stranded on a desert island and fighting for survival.
