Box Score: Magic Mike’s Last Dance wins Super Bowl weekend

Originally set for a streaming premiere on HBO Max, Magic Mike’s Last Dance [MGCM3] pivoted to a theatrical release and tops Super Bowl weekend with an estimated $8.2 million from 1500 theaters.

Avatar: The Way of the Water [AVAT2.BW] moved up to second place in its ninth weekend with $6.88 million to push its total to $646.92 million.

Titanic 25th Anniversary [TIT25.OW] tallied $6.4 million in its return to the box office.

80 for Brady [80FBR] fell 53% in its second weekend to $6.0 million. The sports comedy has scored $24.97 million.

Last weekend’s champ Knock at the Cabin [KNATC] finished fifth at $5.5 million. The thriller dropped 69% to bring its total to $23.45 million.

Missing [SARC2] earned $2.6 million to advance its sum to $26.63 million after 4 weekends.

Opening in 762 theaters, Consecration [CNSCR] grossed $365K.
