Well...remember interest is ONLY 1/4% a YEAR...
So, I'm guessing with so little cash in your account, you MAY get a penny - and perhaps HSX is not bothering to add that to your cash (or can't due to computer settings). Why worry about whether you're receiving a penny or not? Heck, play Box Office Battle every day and you can win $2,000 if you guess just ONE movie right!! You're worried about interest on $429?? 
(I'm not bothering to actually calculate how much interest you'd earn at 1/4% a year on $429, but it can't be much...if even a penny....
