ideas for themed funds.
But why bother thinking up your own idea for a fund when there are plenty of old fund ideas sitting around unused? I certainly didn't come up with the idea for CAINE - I just stole it from an old fund that had been delisted for a few years. Some of the funds that have delisted successfully and were not renewed include:
The Down Under Fund - movies set/filmed in Australia or NZ, or starring Australian or NZ actors
The Canadian Fund - the same, but for Canadians
The African-American fund - African-American actors, and movies featuring them
Latino Fund - the same, but with Latino actors
Golden Years Fund - the same, with actors aged over 65
The Fund of the South - the same, with actors from the Southern US
The Comedy Fund - for comedies
The Sports Fund - for sports movies
The Zoo Fund - for movies featuring animals
The SNL Fund - SNL alumni and their movies
The Literary Fund - movies based on books
The Holiday Fund - movies about holidays or released on holiday weekends
The Crime Fund - movies about crime
The Lawyer Fund - movies featuring lawyers
So if you want to manage a themed fund, there are plenty of good ideas that have already been used, and hopefully will be used again.
