Bruce has a magical algorithm...sometimes right on and sometimes has me scratching my head....but
here is my quick way to look at his charts.
After week 2, generally the difference between the end of 2nd weekedn and end of 4th weekend is approximateley the difference between end of weekend 1 and weekend 2.
After week 3, the difference between weekend 3 and delist is half of the difference betwen week 2 and week 3.
Example: MOVIE opens at 40. Adjust 108. At the end of week 2 it is at 65. delist will be approximately 90. If the end of week 2 is 70, then approx 100. And so on.
At the end of week 3 MOVIE is at 80. Half of 80-65 is about 8 ...delist a 88. If movie goes 40...70....90 then half of 90-70 is 10, delist at 100.
It is crude, but fast and you can do it in your head.....
Look at the chart a couple of weeks and you should see the pattern.
