Believe it or not, I'm trying to be helpful. Here is some (hopefully) helpful advice
Metaphorically, the world is going to hell in a handbasket over COVID-19. Not minimizing it, because it is serious, and we need to get out in front of it (gulp). However, people in groups are stupid, so you have too put emergency rules in place like "no gatherings until further notice". I mean, hell, they're closing down beaches, like you're packed in like sardines at the beach! (In the US, not China. I know they are packed in like sardines at Chinese beaches).
Anyway, exhibitors are closing their doors for a while. i.e. movies will not be shown, i.e. movies slated for release in the near future will not be generating revenue. i.e. Hollywood is ****ed.
What does this mean for HSX, the game we all enjoy and love so much?
a) Most MST are properly priced for this.
b) Most MST are slightly overpriced, because they will still get a release.
c) Most MST are underpriced.
d) Most MST are severly overpriced.
What it comes down to is that HSX is a market guessing what actual revenues will be for MST in the future. Who knows the scope of COVID-19 (time and severity)? Who knows how long exhibitors will be closed? Who knows if people will come back to theaters when they re-open? Are we under or over estimating the impact of all of this economically, etc?
Right now, I think these are the questions you need to ask yourself. Normally, its the usual BS, but this time, **** got real. This game is just that, a game. It is supposed to be fun. Hopefully, it is. If it isn't, isn't it worth asking yourself why? What can be done to make it more fun? Believe me, I'm having a ball.
