Delisting question

I had some shares of night of the demon and it delisted today. Why? It was not released and I can't find anything here about it being shelved permanantly. I could have at least sold it off for what it was worth instead of taking a $0 delisting. Is there a formula for how long a film can sit and not be released? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
