It would seem to be maybe she's reading old licensed books/etc.  Because she's already a fan of the movies.  There's a decent amount of Old Republic tie-in stuff, but not a ton that isn't the video games if they took over the Old Republic project from the GOT guys.  Leslye Headland, the show-runner for The Acolyte, is a deep Star Wars fan who's familiar with even things like the Star Wars RPG's.
