I heard back from Crunchyroll and est. theater count for DSTSV is 1700. The previous Demon Slayer movie opened in 1,605 theaters

and it beat Mortal Kombat with $22.8 million in April 2021 literally weeks after movie theaters reopened in NY and LA. Don't think this one will do as well, but they were nice enough to get me an account so I can finally check out some of these series and possibly know what I talk about. (Anime and faith-based films have always been my weak points.)
