DAYS OF THUNDER wasnt a bomb but it wasnt a breakout either. He's only doing the sequel b/c of F1 not because its an IP his fans want more of. Nascar doesnt have a world wide fan base. EDGE OF TOMORROW underperformed so much they tried to change the title in marketing after it already came out. MINORITY REPORT, WAR OF THE WORLDS were top 10 hits but REACHER wasnt even in the top 50 titles that year for WW box office.
