so here are my top 200 films in the past 20 years (10 per year)....
While I have many other films before 1991 that are most likely in my top list I went ahead and just stayed with picking the best 10 films (from each year) in my opinion, starting when I was 13 years old.
I calculated and I have seen about 65% of all American Films made in the past twenty years. As the years continue it gets harder to keep up because there are so many film companies and it is getting easier to shoot/produce them (so a lot of independents get made).
I’m sure there are films that would have made my list that I may have not seen. If you see one on here that isn’t listed let me know if you think I would be interested. Chances are I have seen it and it just didn’t make my list.

The films are listed by year, in order from my favorites (starting from the top below the given year).
* = Top 50 (over the past 20 years)
** = Top 15 (over the past 20 years)
*** = Top 5 (over the past 20 years)
I have ranked the top 15 and you will see the order next to the film, like so (xx).
