Playboy Club could have been good if (spoilers inside)

1. It was on cable and not broadcast TV.

2. They got rid of the procedural/mob element. There is enough to mine from the club/relationships/period to create enough conflict and drama to last a couple seasons. Why they felt they needed to start here I don't know. But instead they jump teh shark in episode 1.
