I'm pretty sure, that when it all went south, I had a positive effect on the people. When it was over, I began taking 3-4 week camping trips alone.
Last week I read this article about quantum mechanics. It was about particles being in two states at the same time. And part about how things we see may be caused by perception. That caused me to remember my 1st trip to the Grand Tetons. I was hiking up around Jenny Lake to a waterfall. Along the way a Moose came up from behind and bumped my left shoulder. To this day I wonder why is was a moose instead of a bear. It was May, the bears were coming out of hibernation. They were hungry and out on the prowl.
Later that year I took my friends to the park and hiked the same trail. This time on the way back a ranger was escorting a grizzly cub down the mountain.
You're going to have a great time. If you're ever in America, Colorado is a good place to start.
