HSX usually delists a show after it is clear that the show is done airing original shows for the season. There are several different ways that this can be determined:
- the season is over (May 31, 2012)
- the show has completed all of its ordered shows (they have completed their planned season)
- the show is officially cancelled AND taken off the schedule AND there is an official announcement that no more episodes will be shown
- the show is taken off the schedule AND remaining episodes are announced to be shown after the season ends (this is called 'burning off')
When HSX TV Stocks first started, HSX would wait until the end of the season to delist all stocks at the same time. But as time went by, ordering only half seasons started becoming the norm and so did cancelling a series after only airing a few episodes. HSX decided to try delisting TV stocks as they are eligible to make HSX a cleaner and more streamlined place.
