Also: How exactly is it spoiling anything for Prime Time if they showed the event live at 11:00 AM?

So far, for every Prime Time Broadcast, Costas says something like "We're broadcasting these taped events as if they were live, spoiler free", or words to that effect.

If they showed the events live, from HOURS earlier, Costas could simply say at the beginning of each Prime Time Broadcast: "These events were taped earlier today. The events were broadcast live when they happened; but for this evening's broadcast, we're spoiler free, we're not revealing what happened".

What difference would it make?
