Just re-watched the scene from the 1st episode of S5

Notes:

Walt doesn't have his wedding ring on anymore.

He coughs in the bathroom. Takes some pills. He's got a lot of hair, so is it chemo/cancer? Doesn't really point to it. Would suspect some kind of poisoning from cooking meth.

Wherever it takes place, it's between November and March -- trees have no leaves and some people (including Walt) wearing coats/heavier clothing (but not everyone). Pants all around.

Walt has New Hampshire ID and license plate on the car - probably a cover, but he knew that there was a "good science museum" there so maybe he had been there recently?

It looked almost as if the $100 he leaves for the waitress was the last bill in his wallet.
