Thinking about it - I probably voted for Carnahan, thinking whatever Democrat they replaced him with was probably better than Repub choice,
and since the previous gov was John Ashcroft, "I don't care what the law says my religion trumps everything even though I took the oath of office an swore to uphold the law" And then there was the election for Board of Education seat a few years ago were former mayor Schoemel got elected even though he almost got run out the city when he left office. And asked why did people vote for him when he was so hated in previous years - people would rather vote for some they know and hate than someone they don't know. Yep that's the state I live in.
