Governor Christy Lambasts Local Mayor
I can't find the video, but is wasn't as soft as the ones out there. He was clearly upset, angry and just totally laid the man out. I had seen it on CNN. He found it unbelievable that he kept the shelter open in light of his warning. If you missed it or can't find it, you missed a very sad chapter of this man's life. It should destory both man's careers.
Personally I think those people evacuated to a storm shelter and if that shelter had been shut down by Mayor Langford as Christie wanted, those people may have died. Mayor Langford made the right choice to keep the emergency shelter open.
I can't believe the Governor would even consider closing any emergency shelter. They are in place specifically for this purpose. He should be thankful to the Mayor for being there for those people.
