How about government staying out of personal affairs? with the possible exception of crack, I think it is silly to treat recreational drugs
as a legal problem. think of the precentag eof crime that is only to obtain drugs, and they are only that expensive because illegal, the $ are going to criminal orgaizations, people die because quality varies so qidely, etc, etc, not to mention our constitution is supposed to protect us from government, not for government to "protect" us from harm. an example i sheroin-if someone has a long temr addiction, they can get along in society, hold a job, etc. with pharmaceutical heroin, but instead they now steqal, take up jail space, get AIDS, etc.
And remember I am VERY conservative...I think Reagan was a commie! :-)
