the blow up with Pete and his wife I did not see coming. don't know how one comes back from that, but I have found with this show the creators don't play nice and put families (couples) back together for the sake of the show.
which is what is so great about it. however, some excellent characters screentime takes big hits because of it.
besides Breaking Bad, I think this is the best drama on television on TV now (Boardwalk is up there as well). it may only have a couple seasons left though. when BB is done, there just isn't a TON of premium material to choose from. IMO, AMC is pushing hard on HBO, but I hope their new pitches and series continue with the same greatness as what they have been doing.
on a sidenote, can't believe The Killing got renewed. my wife loves it, but I said no thanks after the season 1 ending. i might try it again for the third though since they are going a new direction.
