Trying to improve my writing through practise...just wrote this short film screenplay (4 pages).
It's about a young kid that moves to a new neighbourhood and his encounter with a girl at school. The story isn't fully fleshed out yet as I will probably add an immediate conflict like one of the character's moms having a drinking problem and the child needing to take care of the mother. I just wanted to share this draft and see what people thought about the characters and the writing.
