Carrie Underwood has an awesomely powerful voice and I don't doubt her singing ability in general. Check out her performance of How Great Thou Art. Ā We enjoyed the show, but you could tell she was a bit out of her league next to the Broadway/theater folks with her in the show. She couldn't get rid of her twang and she was the only one who was visibly breathless. Especially on Do Re Mi which was a long section. So many well-known celebs with Broadway and/or theater voice training that they could have used (Anna Kendrick, Amy Adams, Anne Hathaway...).
And who knew Stephen Moyer could sing?
