taste in hour dramas, but the extended trailer has me hopeful. Even so, FOX has the best chance of taking a mature route (as far as the 4 networks go). Casting Donal Logue is a huge step in the right direction since I really like his work.
I can't help but think how funny it is how things change though as, when I was a comic book collector, I was nearly entirely all in on Marvel (with some Vertigo thrown in), but since I stopped reading them about 10 years ago, I've been more intrigued by what DC has going on in other medias. For example, while I am very stoked about the next X-Men movie and have liked some of the other Marvel flicks, none have been nearly as solid (for me) as the Dark Knight stuff. On tv, I had no interest in Shield after 1 ep but I'm now looking forward to Gotham. And as far as future projects, DC wins again as I think their potential Vertigo projects could be great (Preacher on AMC could be gold!).
Just saw the ad for Fox's "Gotham". If done right, that show could have some serious potential. Fingers crossed. {nm} May 05, 18:05
