Agents Of SHIELD Easter Eggs
It was announced on Monday that Agents Of SHIELD has been renewed for season 3.
Most of us already knew who Skye's father was, but last night's episode was the first time we actually saw him onscreen as Mister Hyde (a known Marvel villain who invented a serum that unleashes his brutal beastial side which gives him super strength).
ABC was working on a Agents Of SHIELD spinoff series starring Bobbi and Hunter. Fans did not like this idea saying that those were the two best characters added this season... so ABC cancelled the spinoff. (link)
Reina tells Skye... 'the thorns protect the rose, a daisy in this case' Reina has thorns on her face and Skye's real name is Daisy.
Skye's father does not recognize her at the end of the episode because they used TAHITI on him to change his memories.
Coulson hands Skye a folder and talks about a SHIELD team made up of people with superpowers. Skye says that they would need to be 'secret'. In Marvel comics this is known as Sercret Warriors (a SHIELD team with superpowers... which Daisy Johnson aka Skye was a member of).
Simmons was swallowed up at the end of the episode... We know what that object is, what happened to Simmons and what happens next... but I ain't gonna spoil that one for anybody.
