In the later seasons he did father a child (Sammy Jo) while leaping who went to work for Quantum Leap. But it was never really followed up on, she'd be 55 if the series takes place in present day, if it's the same character and 65/75 if it takes place in the future.
Janice seems the most likely to be Sam's kid if the "present day" is in the near future like 2030s or 2040s. Sam lept in 1995 and then came back a few years later. The ethnicity is a match there. Could also be Al's kid.
