I read a book back in the 80's and spent several years practicing.
I haven't played since February. Looking forward to playing again. I've almost got this trip paid for, and have been thinking that once it's paid, I would drive the 2 hour round trip with $100.00 and see if I can get it going again. The time listed above I started with 20 bucks on the way home from a State Park. Won 44 and left. Went back a few days later with 60 and won. The house had a hard time geting the hand or one card that broke me. After a while I was focused on the winning streak and not the money. Then I ran into a shoe I couldn't beat. The cards they were dealing were f'ing golden.
