Their are two ways of doing movie editing:
Linear - you edit each shot in sequence from beginning to end
Digital - you can edit different parts and then piece them together at a later time.
Many HSX players trade in linear time. You go to the stockpage, then make a trade to short the stock, then you go back to the stockpage and make a trade to sell your long shares. Then you go back to your port and select your next stock to trade ...go to the stockpage, make a trade for short, return to stockpage, then make a trade to sell all your long shares, return to port, etc...
The amount of stocks that you mentioned trading amounted to like 80 total trades. You say it took you 2.5 hours to perform these trades. It would take me less than a half hour to trade the same volume.
There are shortcuts and tricks that can seriously cut down your transaction time. Most players with larger ports have learned these timesavers over time and can make more volume of trades in less time.
