The issuance of these estimates gernerates massive publicity on TV, radio and print media on Sunday (CBS always quotes them during 60 Minutes for example) These are projections, based upon Friday and Saturday estimates plugged into computer models. Sorry if it bothers you but this is part of the game, and there is no crying in HSX.
HSX has always used the Sunday (or Monday for holidays) estimates for adjusts, but never for delists.
