How Fund Managing works...
HSX will give you a seperate username and password to access your fund.
HSX will also reset the fund (clear out any previous investments) and reset the fund to $20mill
Your fund is being IPOed next Tuesday, which means players can start investing in your fund. The fund cannot start making trades until the next day (Wednesday). This allows players the chance to invest at the IPO price.
Your fund has a limit about which moviestocks, starbonds and derrivatives that it can invest in. These are listed and/or explained on the fund stockpage.
When you log into the fund (using its username and password), then you are taken to a portfolio page that looks just like your main port. Trading for the fund looks exactly like running your own personal port. The value (price) of your fund equals how much money the fund has in the portfolio. The fund makes it to $25mill = $25mill stock price. HSX Players make money by investing in your fund and then by trading you earn money for the fund and the price of the stock goes up.
Theme funds have a target of $100 (to make it to 100mill). When they reach or pass that amount they are cashed out/ delisted.
There is a HSX League specifically for fund managers that you can join (login using your fund username and password and then search the leagues and apply using your fund account). The players there are experienced and friendly and like helping new fund managers.
