Problem with Limit Orders?
I bought 100,000 shares short at IPO at $2.00, and I put in a limit order to cover MAX at $4.10 (expiring at the end of the day).
As soon as the limit order showed as filled all of my shares were covered at the then current price of $3.45.
I thought this would cover my shares only if the price went above $4.10.
Did I fill in the limit order incorrectly or is this a bug?
(This has happened twice before with my other limit order attempts with pennystocks.)

you can't use limit orders as a stop loss...maybe you are misunderstanding what "short" means {nm} Oct 21, 17:59
