DESCRIPTION

The Current War chronicles the late-19th Century competition over the method of electricty distribution between AC and DC. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Thomas Edison, Nicholas Hoult as Nicola Tesla and Michael Shannon as George Westinghouse. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directs from a screenplay by Michael Mitnick.
