Confusing, and lacking in userfriendliness

I am used to following URLs from one reference of a security to other information on that, ie Blockbuster Warrants should have mutual links with their respective moviestocks.  I can't see how individual stocks are doing, because I spend way too much time trying to find them in the first place.

I fail to see why programmers think that new user interfaces need to dump everything and start from scratch.  Did Microsoft develope this for you?
