Lorax release date a typo?

The Lorax release date on the site says Mar 12, 2012 but every other source I've seen says Mar 2 incl. BOM and the initial trade announcement citing Dr. Seuss' birthday as the reason for it. 

Is it possible that this is a typo (esp since there is only one '1' too much)?
