NOt sure if this has been covered but if an IPO doesn't sell its shares in its first day, does that mean it remains halted?

What do you mean by halted?

Frozen? I mean that the IPO remains at the IPO price until all shares are sold...

If it's the latter than in theory, a stock shouldn't be able to move at reset post-IPO at all unless it's sold its shares

It would reset at midnight. Why not?

But if it hasn't sold enough shares to move, it resets but then does it move automatically or does it still need the shares before moving?

My question has been answered... the stock will only move its first day if enough shares are traded.. if not, it just behaves like a normal
