Description

The Iranian film Baran has already racked up a number of international accolades. Baran was named Best Picture at 2001 Montreal Film Festival, making it the third Majidi film to win that award. Directed by Majid Majidi, Baran film tells the story of a young boy who loses his employment to an illegal Afghan worker and is forced seek more difficult work. Miramax will distribute.
