Eli Marienthal began his acting career on the 1996 made-for-TV movie, Unlikely Angel, and soon made his big-screen debut in 1997's First Love, Last Rites. Since then, Marienthal has appeared in 1998's The Slums of Beverly Hills, as well as 1999's American Pie. In addition to his live-action work, Marienthal also provided the voice talent for the character of Hogarth in 1999's The Iron Giant.
