Description

A highly-stylized animated feature, The Iron Giant chronicles a 50-foot robot (Vin Diesel) that lands on earth and forms a relationship with a boy named Hogarth (Eli Marienthal). Set in a small town in 1958, the film follows Hogarth as he tries to help the robot hide from the alarmed townspeople. Rumors around the project suggest that The Iron Giant may be the last in-house feature from Warner Feature Animation, which released 1998's The Quest for Camelot to a meager gross of $22 million.
