Set after the Japanese surrender ending World War II, the drama Emperor stars Matthew Fox as General Bonner Fellers, the man who has to decide whether Emperor Hirohito should be tried and hanged as a war criminal. Eriko Hatsune plays a woman he fell in love with in the U.S.when she was a Japanese exchange studen. Tommy Lee Jones will play Gen. Douglas MacArthur in the film directed by Peter Webber.
