Human Resources is a look at the business empire and how business can sometimes take over friends and family. The story revolves around Frank, a young college graduate who joins a major corporation where his father has worked for 30 years as an intern . As the boy climbs the ranks, he begins firing people who he believe aren't necessary for the company, including his father. This movie questions the bond between a son and a father, or the lack thereof.
The drama was written by and directed by French director, Laurent Cantet. It's been featured at a variety of film festivals and has collected eight awards in the process. The film stars new French actors Jalil Lespert, Jean-Claude Vallod and Chantal Barre.
