Dark family secrets are examined in Mifune, an acclaimed piece from Danish director Soren Kragh-Jacobsen. The day after his wedding, a young Copenhagen businessman learns about the death of his father. To complicate matters, the young man has been estranged from his family for the past 10 years, and had denied their existence to his new bride. When he returns home, he finds himself suddenly the caretaker of his emotionally disabled older brother. The title is in reference to the Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune, and is part of a role-playing samurai game the brothers engage in. The film stars Anders W. Berthelsen.
