Description

Based on the non-fiction book by Sahebjam, the heart-wrenching drama The Stoning of Soraya M. tells a woman’s tale of her niece’s stoning due to a false charge of adultery. Shohreh Aghdashloo stars as the woman while Jim Caviezel plays the journalist getting the story. Cyrus Nowrasteh directed the film and co-adapted the script with Betty Giffen Nowrasteh.
