First trailer for 12 Years A Slave

Fox Searchlight has revealed the debut trailer for the biographical drama 12 Years A Slave [12SLV] on Apple.   Based on the true story of Solomon Northup, Chiwetel Ejiofor [CEJIO] stars as a free black man from New York who is abducted and sold into slavery pre-Civil War.  The all-star supporting cast is lead by Michael Fassbender [MFASS] as his cruel slave owner and Brad Pitt [BPITT] as a Canadian abolitionist.  Directed by Steve McQueen (Shame), 12 Years A Slave begins in limited release on October 18th.
