First trailer for Into the Woods

Walt Disney has unveiled the teaser trailer for the feature adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical Into the Woods [INTWD] on Apple.  Though you couldn't tell it's a song-filled musical from the trailer, Into the Woods twists the calssic fairy tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel as well as Jack and the Beanstalk by combining them with a new story about a baker and his wife, played by James Corden [JCORD] and Emily Blunt [EBLUN], who wish to start a family. Meryl Streep [MSTRE], Johnny Depp [JDEPP], Anna Kendricks [AKEND] and Chris Pine [CPINE] round out the cast.  Into the Woods opens in theaters on Christmas Day.
