Fox has finally revealed the first look at their superhero franchise reboot with the teaser for Fantastic Four [FANT4], which takes its inspiration from the Marvel Comics' Ultimate storyline. Miles Teller [MTELL] stars as Reed Richards, Kate Mara as Sue Storm, Michael B. Jordan [MBJOR] as Johnny Storm, Jamie Bell [JBELL] as Ben Grimm and Toby Kebbell [TKEBB] as Dr. Doom. Rrather than the fantastic approach of the previous two films, the Josh Trank-directed film offers a more scientific approach to the genre that recalls Interstellar.
A contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
Fantastic Four arrives in theaters on August 7th.
