First trailer for Freeheld

Summit has unveiled the trailer for the drama Freeheld [FRHLD] based on a true story.  Julianne Moore [JMOOR] and Ellen Page [EPAGE] play a lesbian couple fighting for domestic partner benefits for same-sex couples.   Laurel Hester was a police detective in New Jersey who found out she had terminal lung cancer in 2002.   She sought to leave her benefits to Stacie Andree before she passed away in 2006. Freeheld will open in limited release on October 2nd before expanding on October 16th.
