First Trailer for Truth

Sony Pictures Classics has unveiled the trailer for the drama Truth [TRUTD] based on recent current events.  Robert Redford [RREDF] stars as CBS anchor Dan Rather and Cate Blanchett [CBLAN] as producer Mary Mapes as they reported that President George W. Bush was AWOL from the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War.   They then endured a media firestorm that accused the story as a political fabrication.  As a result, both Rather and Mapes lost their jobs with latter writing the 2005 book 'Truth and Duty'.  Premiering to critical acclaim at the Toronto Film Festival, Truth looks to be a serious awards contender when it begins its limited release on October 16th.
